The Womens Primative Skills Weekend is a busy 3 days! Here is a breif overview of the planned weekend for 2024
July 12-14, 2024
OUTLINE OF THE WEEKEND
Friday, July 12
12:00p.m.-5:00 p.m. - Sign in and pick up workshop list and welcome package, as well as any needed clothing from Granny’s Closet

5:15 p.m. -Opening ceremonies at the council fire (please dress in period appropriate attire)Followed by Wine & cheese (provided) at the wiki-up

7:00p.m. - Mountain women games
Saturday, July 13
9:00 a.m. – 12:00p.m. - Workshops (please arrive on time for all classes)
12:00p.m.- 1:00pm - Lunch break (please provide your own breakfasts and lunches)
1:00p.m.-3:00p.m. - Open classes/drop-in

6:00 p.m. - Pot luck dinner (bring something to feed 4)
7:00 p.m. - ROUND ROBIN and council fire
Sunday, July 14
9:00 a.m. to 12:00pm - Workshops
12:30 p.m - Closing ceremonies
On Friday when you arrive you will sign in at Granny’s Closet. You will receive an envelope containing your workshop information. Opening ceremonies will commence about 5:15 pm.
If you have jewelry, crafts, preserves or other “period appropriate” items that you would like to sell, please feel free to bring them. We will have space available in the “Trading Post”. Please remember to bring a bit of cash, if you wish to buy anything at the Trading Post.
Saturday afternoon the Tea Room will be open, providing tea and sweets and a place to relax and visit. At 6 pm it’s time for our pot-luck supper. Everyone should bring something for 4 people. Then we will clean up and it will be time for the Round Robin. Please see the Round Robin description in the “Frequently Asked Questions”.
